Supporting Individuals With Special Needs

GIVING CARE, LOVE, AND FUN

Our Story

Special Day Foundation became a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2009.  Based in Bradenton, Florida, our organization provides unique opportunities for children and adults who live with a cognitive disability, more specifically, developmental disability.

All of our programs are designed to encourage independence and support self-esteem to enrich the quality of daily life. Our Recreational Fishing/Boating Program is offered in the Bradenton/Sarasota area while our Community Outreach Dental Programs are offered in Seminole, Naples, and Hialeah.

Breaking Barriers

For many special needs individuals, the ability to enjoy social activities is very limited. Ordinary outings, like going on a fishing trip or even visiting the dentist, are often out of reach. Special Day Foundation provides the funding and accessibility needed to give developmentally disabled individuals these experiences. This also provides them with the ability to socialize, connect with nature, and build their self-confidence.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
